Yovel always covered his face with his mask, telling Sieg that he was rather happy even though he had to cover his face. He seems like a scaredy-cat first sight, but he has a determined and brave personality hidden inside of him. He despises both his sister and Icas, and he doesn't seem to have a good sibling relationship like most of the characters have. He idolizes Sieg as a strong person and he admitted that he would like to stay at the castle to follow Sieg and to be as strong as him. Yovel is easily scared and quick to judge people without truly realizing the fact that they are innocent, as when he pointed his sister as the one who pranked him by putting glue on his mask.
Sieg accepted a mission from a mysterious lady at Salsabil Inn, asking him to meet and find a man. After finding her inside the room of the Inn, Sieg met Yovel, who was pretending to be the bodyguard of Morrin. She wanted him to find Icas, the man that she loved.
If Sieg managed to find Icas and brings him back to the castle, another mission would be served for Sieg to finish. He had to bring Icas to Morrin, at the Salsabil Inn. Icas decided to join Sieg, telling him that his castle is full of beautiful ladies. Sieg could accept him or not, but it's speculated that recruiting him would enable Sieg to recruit Morrin and Yovel. Sieg kept taking him to Morrin however, convicing him that there is a woman who was waiting after him. Icas agreed if it is a woman.
When Sieg was about to leave the Headquarters, Morrin and Yovel stopped them at the Entrance, saying that Morrin can't wait any longer for Icas. Ouragan came to finish Icas off, but Sieg would protect him as a member of his company.
It was revealed later that Ouragan was hired by a girl who was left by Icas. Heartbroken and angry, she hired him to kill Icas. Ouragan would visit Icas sometimes and would join later, with Icas freaking out. Icas also requested for Sieg to let him go to another world to see other ladies, but was stopped by Wahie and Morrin.
Later, Yovel asked for Sieg's help to help him to pull off his mask. Yovel blamed Morrin as the one who did that to him, although Morrin didn't do the thing. Sieg asked Balsam about the glue, and Balsam would tell him that he need to find Squidcreeper Sap to dissolve the glue. Yovel and three member of the party travel to another world to locate a Squidcreeper. It's speculated that they have to possessed a lot of luck. The mission went well, and Yovel was able to remove his mask. Morrin told him that she didn't do it, although it would be better if Yovel's face is masked, since he was good looking and girls tended to chase after him.
After finishing several quest, the final suspect is Autar, but they didn't reveal the next step. However it is revealed that Numnu is the one who did it as a prank and tried to pin it on Autar cause he was tired of how cute he was.
Yovel would be listening to Roberto who was counseling the "Greenheads" about how to fight well. Yovel told Sieg that he knew that Morrin would be chasing Icas right now, which is embarassing. When the war is finished, Yovel is free to stay at the castle, serving Sieg, since his sister has stopped chasing after Icas.

- Morrin thinks that it is better if Yovel hide his face behind the Mask. Her reason is, "Yovel is good-looking, like her, so If Morrin did'nt cover up Yovel's face, he'd be as big a lady-killer as Icas."
