Dawn, Twilight, and Star Runes[]

I feel we may need to add a section about this runes under the "Mistaken True Runes" or create their own section. I only say this because while the Dawn and Twlight Runes certainly break enough rules not to be true runes, they do seem to exist in a class of their own compared to standard runes. I mean, the hero of V briefly bears both runes at the games good ending, which signifies that neither rune is an actual True Rune but the Runes themselves exhibit a will of their own that chooses its master which is a trait of the true runes themselves. So they seem to exist in some weird category of their own. The Star Rune itself is also an odd one that is implied to have traits of the True Runes but is also implied to be not so different from the Dawn and Twilight Runes. Thoughts?

They are all direct children of True runes, so I think we should indicate that, along with a trivia about players confusion. By the way I'm not sure about what to call Fron Gate Rune/Back Gate rune, they are half of a True Rune (not child rune then) which both have effects of a True Rune.

Resurrection trivia...[]

Is the 'trivia' about the resurrection rune really necessary or even accurate? Given that we have a true rune whose proper name is "the rune governing life and death" it would make sense for it to have child runes dealing with the life side of that equation and not just the death... --ACDragonMaster (talk) 23:24, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

  • The Resurrection rune's name is a mistranslations. It should be translated to Exorcism rune. So the closest parents rune is Night Rune.
