BiographyEdit

Sonya Schulen was the head of the Scarlet Moon Imperial Navy--a position she inherited from her mother, Kilawher Schulen. She is a formidable warrior with her spear, bow and magic.

When she first took control of the navy, Teo McDohl was very kind to her, and her feelings for him grew into love. The two became lovers. She used to be stationed in the old Toran Lake Castle before the construction of Shasarazade. After the move, pirates often took control of the old castle, so she summonned a Zombie Dragon to guard the old castle from marauders. During the war, she strictly adhered to her orders--to protect Shasarazade and thus she did not move her navy at all during the Gate Rune Wars. However, after the death of Teo, she only had one mission--to kill Tir McDohl.

However, she was defeated at Shasarazade by the Liberation Army and she fought singlehandedly against Tir's team. She was defeated there as well and tried to kill herself due to the fact that she wasn't able to take her revenge. However, Viktor forcibly stopped her from killing herself and took her captive. After that, Sonya was put in the prison in Toran Castle. After Tir talks to her, she agreed to fight with him so that she could see him die in battle.

However, by the end, she saw the spirit of Teo McDohl coursing through Tir's veins and realized the futility of her vow for revenge. After the war, she served as the head of the Toran Republican Navy and was named as one of the Republic's Six Great Generals. She participated in the campaign to regain the northern lands of Senan that was taken by the armies of Tinto and South Windowduring the Gate Rune Wars and scored many victories. She still laments the death of Teo and even in her most recent entries in her diaries, she writes about the short but satisfying moments she spent with him years ago.
