Pesmerga is the Teni Star in both Suikoden and Suikoden II. He is a Black Knight in search of the Black Knight Yuber. He uses a Crimson Sword, which is a sword imbued with runic power. His name means "He who chases after Death" in Kurdish.

BiographyEdit

Gate Rune Wars (Suikoden) Edit

Pesmerga joined the Liberation Army in hopes of finding Yuber. He does find Yuber at Gregminster following the defeat of the Imperial Army outside Gregminster. There Yuber uses the "Eight Devil Formation" which was a magical formation that would have forced the Liberation Army to become confused during battle. Pesmerga was able to see through this and lead a charge against the only weak spot in the formation, disrupting Yuber's ranks. He found Yuber and a duel ensued, but Yuber ran away after only a few strikes.

Dunan Unification War (Suikoden II) Edit

During the Dunan Unification War, he joined the New Dunan Army to find Yuber, but he was unable to face off with him because Yuber ran away before he reached his unit. Since then, Pesmerga's whereabouts are unknown.

CombatEdit

Pesmerga is a beast of a character. He has the highest Strength and HP stats in the game and his defense is top notch as well. Sadly he is incredibly slow but a party member with a Spark Rune can overcome this problem. He can't equip the best armor in the game due to the Dragon Armor permanently attached to him, but his high defense and HP more than make up for it.

Talk to him in Cave of the Wind after defeating the Bone Dragon. Must have recruited over 100 Stars of Destiny.

CombatEdit

Once again, Pesmerga returns as a powerful ally with high stats in Strength, HP, and Defense. His one open Rune slot and one open equipment slot, means he has limited customization options but his high stats and good equipment still keeps him as one of the top fighters. He still needs a speedy ally with a Spark Rune to overcome his lackluster speed stat. His permanently embedded Rage Rune gives his weapon a fire elemental property but also increases his high attack power even more. His magic stat has also been given a modest boost that makes him more flexible but you may still want to concentrate on his melee skills over magic.
