During the Sun Rune War, Nelis and Yahr was staying on Nirva Island's Inn and she scold Yahr for slacking off their duties. Bernadette Egan and Freyjadour Falenas saw them talking on the inn and Bernadette asked them on what they are doing there but Yahr and Nelis couldn't tell but later when Bernadette and Freyjadour are leaving the Nirva Island they followed them and asked them if they could ride on Elemark Ship. Freyjadour agreed and on their way, Freyjadour, Bernadette, Yahr and Nelis saw a rune cannon shell firing and headed there. Yahr and Nelis decided to go on their own on the Ship Graveyard but Bernadette and Freyjadour insisted and went with them.
They examine the Ship Graveyard around and fought a Dagon and saw a group of Pirate who were stranded on the Ship Graveyard. They learned the reason why the pirate fired a rune cannon shell and that was the pirate was seeking for help. The pirate was glad that they were save and allowed them to take the rune cannon. Nelis check it and tell that the rune cannon is in good condition but when the Dagon they fought earlier tried to attacked the Elemark Ship, Freyjadour and Yahr used the rune cannon to destroy it. Then Freyjadour and Yahr agreed to destroy the rune cannon after seeing how devastated it was. When they are on land Freyjadour asked if they could joined the Loyalist Army and Nelis and Yahr accept the offer and helped Freyjadour on his fight against Godwins. After the war, she and Yahr destroyed the rune cannon shell that is left on the armory of the Island Nations and she disappears with him and flees, with Skald hot on their trail.
Role in the GameEdit
After the coronation ceremony/HQ upgrade (combined scene), return to Nirva Island with Bernadette and look at the cannons on the Lino En Kuldes. Afterwards, head into the Inn and talk with Yahr and Nelis. Take the ship back to Estrise, and the two will ask to sail with you. Offer to check out the Rune shell, and go through the ship graveyard. Suggest use of the rune cannon to defeat the monster during the quest, and choose to destroy the Rune Cannon, and, back at Nirva Island, Yahr and Nelis will join.
Nelis is a versatile long range fighter with a good affinity for magic. She also has many unite attacks available.
- Head - Medium
- Body - Chain
- Hand - Medium
- Foot - Medium
Nelis is an L-range fighter that uses a throwing knife as a weapon.
Nelis can lead a three-star archer unit or a three-star archery ship with one use of the Barrage ability.
- Nelis is an Island Nations Federation soldier. Just like Yahr, she´s been assigned the special duty of finding and gathering up shells for the Rune Cannons.
- Yahr calls his work just a "cushy job," but Nelis, on the other hand, specially volunteered for the assignment.
- Apparently, someone in her family helped invent the Rune Cannon 150 years ago, and the family´s passed down the guilt. It´s ancient history, and she had nothing to do with it, but I guess she´s the type who has a hard time letting go.
- Dragon Cavalry
I heard of their exploits even in the Island Nations, but I never knew exactly how great they were until now. No wonder Lord Godwin would resort to dirty tricks. He's that desperate to keep them away!
- The Rune of Condemnation
Alhazred showed me the Book of Condemnation. I think the Rune that possessed it is related to the Rune of Punishment. The Rune of Punishment is one of the twenty-seven True Runes. It whittles away the life of its host. They say it's linked to the Island Liberation War. While the Rune of Condemnation is only related to the Rune of Punishment, you should still be careful when you use it.
