Liukan's Hermitage (リュウカンの庵; Ryuukan no Iori) is a location in Suikoden.
Overview[]
Located in the far southwest part of Toran, inside the Lorimar region, it is where Liukan lived in retirement. The place contained only one house where Liukan lived. The only way to access it is by taking a boat on the Dunan River. However, because there are strong rapids on the river (known as the Dunan Rapids), it is not accessible unless you have an upgraded boat that can pass over the rapids.
Story[]
Tir and company visited this place to seek Liukan's assistance about Milich's poisonous flower, Antoinette. After recruiting Gen and Kamandol to build a boat that would be able to travel over the rapids, they arrived at Liukan's Hermitage. Unfortunately they arrived too late, as Milich, who anticipated the move, flew in on a Dragon and abducted Liukan in front of their eyes. Liukan was then placed in Soniere Prison.
