BiographyEdit

Killey hails from a tribe that lives in northern Falena. His crimson clothing symbolizes the legendary red bird in his tribe. He has been tracing the Sindar for a very long time, from when he was in his teens. His abrasive personality and unwillingness to disclose his intentions garner him few friends and many enemies.

He has crossed paths with his 'rival' Lorelai several times, although exactly when they first met is unknown. He bumped into her a few months before the assassination of Queen Arshtat in the Deep Twilight Forest Sindar Ruins in western Falena, and they ventured in until they got stuck in a room and feared they could never get out. Then a group of wayward time travellers, led by the ditzy mage Viki, burst in through the ceiling, giving them a route to escape from the ruins.

After hearing of an official inquiry into the secrets of the Sindar by the Godwins, Killey responded, and helped Marscal's team of experts survey the Ashtwal Mountains Sindar ruins. However, back in Sol-Falena, he was found in the sealed room in the Sun Palace when the Sun Rune returned to the bust there, after Arshtat's death. They threw him into Agate Prison after the incident, reportedly claiming he was involved in the assassination with Georg (a rumor which spread far beyond the lands of Falena). He knew how to disarm the lock, but didn't know how to get out of the prison himself because of the water surrounding Agate Prison. So, he stayed in his cell until the Prince and his entourage came into the prison. He saw that they had mud on their boots, and surmised that there was an underground passage they came through. He saw his ticket out of the prison, but wishing to know more about the bust he was examining before, asked the Prince about it. Seeing the Prince didn't really know anything about it, he left.

Killey heard about the Prince's unlocking of the ruins in Ceras Lake, and came to investigate. He was taken to the Sealed Room, and upon examining it, soon left. He was next found back at the Deep Twilight Forest, where he ventured into the depths of the ruins with the Prince, the latter's Dawn Rune now granting access Killey didn't have the last time he was there. Following this event, Killey joined the Prince's army and helped him defeat the Godwins.

After the war, somehow misinformation given to him by Lorelai got him locked in the dungeons of Falena for three years, after which he escaped. He made his way up to the City-States of Jowston. During the time of the Dunan Unification War, he joined the Dunan Army to interrogate Alex on his findings in the Sindar Ruins near Muse. Alex told him what his treasure is, and Killey understood what Alex meant. However, he still continues to search for the elusive Sindar, heading to Kanakan after the war's end.

After defeating Luca Blight, you can find him outside the trade shop in South Window. Tell him about Alex and then return to headquarters. You find him in the item shop at your castle arguing with Alex. After those events find him again in South Window and ask him to join.

Given Killey is one of the few characters in the game who has three available rune slots, he can become one of the most potent fighters in the game when equipped with the Double-Beat Rune, Double-Strike Rune, and Fury Rune.

Several methods to recruit..

1. Bring Cius and Lelei to Agate Prison and talk to him in his jail cell. Killey will later show up an the eastern bridge of your headquarters (Lorelai and Zweiginyourparty may be needed to trigger this). 1a. If (1) occurs before going to Twilight Forest for the first time, Killey will leave and find you in the Twilight Forest Ruins after the mission. You can recruit him after completing the Twilight Ruins just after you exit. 1b. If you do not recruit him at (1a), he leaves and you can find him later standing in front of the Dawn Ruins, where the PrinceuseshisRune to open the sealed door. 1c. If (1) happens after Twilight Forest event, he will join you when your HQ is Level 3.

2. If you did not free Killey and complete the event at Twilight Ruins, return to the last room of Twilight Ruins later to find him.

Oboro InvestigationEdit

1: We don't know much about Killey -- not even why he was locked up in Agate Prison. He seems to be researching the Sindar civilization, but I'm still trying to find out why.

2: When Lord Godwin held a gathering of Sindar civilization experts, Killey showed up. Not to help out or anything -- he just couldn't resist the chance to snag that much Sindar information all at once.

3: I don't think there's any doubt he's from this country. I asked him which city, but he wouldn't tell me. He only said, You wouldn't know it even if I told you. Heh, i doubt that.
