When a runemaster attaches a Killer crystal to a character in Suikoden, it becomes a Killer Rune.

- A rune that makes it easier to get critical hits.

- A rune that increases probability of high damage hits.
Suikoden IV
- A rune that increases the chance of a critical hit.

- Increases chance of critical hits.

- Critical hit odds increase by 50%. 10% chance of instant death.
