Hai Yo's Restaurant is a service available at the Headquarters in Suikoden II. It is also the location of the Cook-off Minigame.

Mechanics[]
By selecting various dishes to be prepared, you can earn money from the restaurant.
The restaurant has a popularity ranking and depending on the rank, your restaurant can earn more money. The calculation for the ranking is as follows: First, get the sum of the three dishes with the highest tastiness score in each category (appetizer, main, dessert). Next, divide the total of the second most tasty dishes in each category by two, Then divide the total of the third most tasty dishes by four. The sum of these three is the current popularity ranking of your restaurant.
When you visit the restaurant, you can earn money at regular intervals. One check is done every 12 minutes, and the income is saved for up to 8 checks.
The restaurant’s income is calculated as follows: popularity ranking times 2 times the number of income checks performed.
For the most efficient earnings, it is best to visit the restaurant every 96 minutes.
