BiographyEdit

Gate Rune Wars (Suikoden) Edit

Before the Gate Rune Wars, Gen was living in Teien next door to Kamandol, working on various projects. When Tir came to town seeking out a way to pass the Dunan Rapids, Gen took the challenge, introducing them to Kamandol and, with his help, upgrading a boat in Rikon with an oil burning motor in order to have sufficient power to pass the rapids. Gen then joined the Liberation Army, continuing to help use his carpentry skills to upgrade boats for the army. One such upgrade again allows Tir to pass a set of northern rapids, opening up access to Kirov. At one point, he even assists making hundreds of boats out of ice with the help of Milia and Thrash.

Post Gate Rune Wars Edit

After the war, Gen returns to Teien to continue his ship building.

SuikodenEdit

Recruiting Edit

Gen will automatically join when spoken to in a house in Teien when Tir and party need a way to pass the Dunan Rapids.

Carpenter Edit

Gen, with Kamandol, will upgrade the boat at the castle, making it possible to pass the rapids to the north and allowing the boat to travel Lake Toran more quickly.

CombatEdit

Gen is a strong physical fighter with plenty of HP and defense to handle the frontline, and low magical skill being his only real flaw. He has decent speed and can keep up with speedier characters in the party.
