History[]
200s
Over the 200s, the Gaien Dukedom was involved in various wars with the Kooluk Empire, using the Kuknasi Sea as a battleground. However, the Gaien-Kooluk War in 295, which ended with the famed catastrophic defeat at El-Eal Fortress, despite a strong and skilled naval force, including Glen Cott and Konrad. This loss for the Gaien Navy also resulted to the loss of the Gaien colony of Middleport.
300s
Still suffering from the inevitable decline of power their loss in the Gaien-Kooluk War brought, the Gaien Navy based at Razril was ordered to surrender to the approaching forces of the Kooluk Empire by Gaien Marine Knight Commander, Snowe Vingerhut, in order to protect the island from Kooluk's gigantic Rune Cannon which destroyed Iluya.
Following this, portions of the Gaien Navy collaborated with the Kooluk Imperial Navy, forming the Mixed Kooluk Fleet to defend Razril from the approaching Island Liberation Navy. Following Razril's liberation, the remnants of the Gaien fleet joined with Razro's forces until the end of the war.
Following this, the surviving ships of the Gaien Navy at Razril were presumably absorbed into the new Island Nations Federation Navy.
