Pharamond (ファラモン; Faramon) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis.
Overview[]
Pharamond was the capital of the Kingdom of Astrasia, the homeland of Chrodechild and Fredegund. As would be expected of the capital of a kingdom well known for its military prowess, the city itself was constructed like a fortress that was difficult to attack.
After the kingdom was defeated in the battle against The Order of the One True Way, it was occupied. It was left under the control of the Order for over two years. Due to its fortress-like structure, when it was under the military occupation of the Order, it was used as a crucial stronghold. The Order massed troops here and used it as a base to try and bring the Marsinah Plains under their control.
However, because of the simultaneous uprising by the citizens of Astrasia and the efforts of the crown princess Chrodechild, who returned with support from Sieg and his company, the Order and its influence was successfully expelled. It once again became the capital of the kingdom.
