The Great Forest Village (大森林の村; Dai Shinrin no Mura) is a location in Suikoden.
Overview[]
The Great Forest Village is located in the Gouran region, near the border of the Great Forest. Going through the village is the only way to travel from the Moran Forest into the Great Forest region.
The population living here were relatively unaware of their non-human neighbours due to the Forest of Illusion, and the supposed sighting of an elf or kobold were often treated with disbelief. Following the burning of Lukiae Ende Towayo, the illusion was destroyed and the passage through Moran Forest became possible, allowing the humans of the Great Forest Village to travel to the nearby towns and settlements that had been kept secret from them for centuries.
