Known as simply "The North" to citizens of the Toran region, the name of the Dana region actually stems from their neighbours, those who live in the Dunan region. The region is in the centre of a trade route between the two countries. As such, Dana has had many merchants and smugglers pass through the region, though surprisingly there are few towns within it.

Due to the higher altitude and brisk winds that flow towards it from Lake Toran, the Dana region is quite cold compared to many of the other regions of Toran.
