The Counter Rune is a type of rune in the Suikoden series. It is a physical-effect rune that allows the user to counterattack more effectively. The Counter Rune has appeared in every main Suikoden game.
Suikoden I
When a Counter crystal is attached to a character, it becomes a Counter Rune.
- Chance of counter-attacking x1.5.
Suikoden II
- A rune that makes it easier to do counterstrikes.
Suikoden III
- A rune that makes it easier to counter foes direct attack.
Suikoden IV
- A rune that makes it easier to counter.
Suikoden Tactics
- Increases the chance of dodges and counter-attacks.
Suikoden V
- +50% chance of Thrust Back after Weapon Defense or Parry.
