Corselia was the daughter of Martin, Crown Prince of the Kooluk Empire, and Miranda. Corselia got caught up in the events surrounding Kooluk in the year 309 when her lovelorn mother, Miranda, took her to Caleron Laboratory where Iskas, her lover, was waiting. Once there, Iskas used his dominating personality to have Miranda leave with him even when Corselia chose to stay with Kyril, who had also infiltrated the laboratory.
Accompanying Kyril and his group on their mission in Kooluk, Corselia's status brought extra attention to the group as she was considered a victim of kidnapping by the Kooluk government despite her choice to travel with Kyril and his companions. She was almost kidnapped, for real, by Heinz when he brought up the idea with his subordinate, Coop, as they traveled with Kyril. However, his idea was rejected and Heinz was forced to abandon his plan in exchange for Corselia's silence once she overheard the discussion.
Martin eventually managed to catch up with Kyril's group and attacked them without listening to Corselia's protestations. Once his officers were defeated in battle, Martin listened to what Corselia and Kyril had to say before duelling Kyril in order to be certain that Kyril could protect his daughter. Upon confronting Iskas at Graska, Martin (as well as his father, Julius) was transformed into a fishman. Once Kyril, Corselia and their companions had reached Graska Palace, the transformed Martin attacked Corselia which forced Kyril to overcome his trauma and strike the transformed Martin down.
Continuing to journey with the group, Corselia was forced to put her grief for the loss of her father and grandfather on hold as they battled Iskas in the Secret Patriarchal Facility. Sadly, after his defeat, Iskas also murdered Miranda, robbing the young Princess of both her parents.
Her journey with Kyril and his companions through Kooluk had forced Corselia to look at the problems plaguing the nation, some of which had been brought by incompetent governing and increased corruption. Therefore, instead of assuming the throne after the final defeat of Iskas, Corselia made the decision to dissolve the Kooluk Empire.
It seems that Corselia then moved to the Scarlet Moon Empire, although she sometimes returned to the former Kooluk Empire incognito to see how the former Kooluk territories were faring. After Kyril disappeared, she and Simeon journeyed to track him down, seemingly without success.
Role in the GameEdit
Corselia will fight alongside you in the battles of Chapter 13, and officially join your party afterward.
Well, she's a mage with the Extra Move ability, so that makes her great in and of itself. She, Simeon and Blue Merc. are all Water mages, and while she's in the middle, power-wise, her crazy high EVA makes her the most durable of the three. This is good, since as a water mage, she can't equip Lightning/Thunder, and thus lacks sniper capabilities. Without the ability to target single opponents (Flaming Arrows ceases to be really effective shortly after you get her) she's stuck with multiple-target spells which tend to create friendly-fire incidents unless she's right up there close to the front lines, and thus in range of enemy attacks. A mage has to be able to take a shot in this game.
She has a lot of good unites, too, so she's very much worth using. Which is good, since you're forced to have her in your party on a couple of fights. May as well build her-preferably as a healer- and let her usefulness balance out the nightmare that is listening to her English voice actress.
